What is Orthodontics?
Orthodontics is a specialised branch of dentistry concerned with the treatment and improvement of crooked/crowded teeth and bite abnormalities. Its aim is to provide an attractive smile and a healthy and comfortable bite.
Both Graham Edwards and John Kerrigan at Circus Orthodontics are qualified dentists who have undertaken further training and gained post-graduate qualifications to be recognised by the General Dental Council as Specialists in Orthodontics. When they are at work, all they do all day every day is straighten teeth!
Orthodontic appliances are used to correct the position of teeth. These may be removable, or fixed onto the teeth, and can be virtually invisible.
Who can have Orthodontics?
People of all ages can benefit from orthodontic treatment. An attractive smile with well-aligned and healthy teeth can be achieved at any age.
At Circus Orthodontics private orthodontic treatment is available for adults and children, with interest free payment plans. We also offer NHS orthodontic treatment to patients under 18 years of age, subject to NHS England guidelines and regulations.
