Graham qualified as a dentist in 1988 at Newcastle University, achieving an honours degree. He subsequently gained further experience in oral surgery, restorative dentistry and children's dentistry before entering a 3 year orthodontic training program at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. He qualified as an orthodontist in 1994 and won first prize in a national competition for presenting the best clinical cases. Graham joined the practice in 1995 and continues to work full time. He is married to Kerry and they have two children. Graham is a registered orthodontic specialist with the General Dental Council, holds the Fellowship in Dental Surgery and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and The British Lingual Orthodontic Society.

Rachel graduated in 2007 as dentist from Bristol University . She has over 15 years of clinical experience and has been a specialist orthodontist since 2013. After graduating as a dentist she worked in London as part of specialist MaxilloFacial Oral Surgery and paediatric dentistry teams at Great Ormond Street, UCH and The Royal London Hospitals. During this time she continued 5 more years of specialist post graduate training at The Royal London Hospital. She gained her Membership to The Faculty of Dental Surgery and a Masters in Science (Msc) in Orthodontics. She was then invited to join The Royal College of Surgeons. Her orthodontic research won the British Orthodontic Society Hawley Russell research prize and she has presented at both The European and British Orthodontic Society Conferences.
Rachel has recently moved from London to the southwest and now works in both NHS and Private specialist orthodontic practices in Bath and London. She enjoys using the latest aesthetic techniques including both traditional metal, iconix and clear fixed braces and removable brace systems such as Invisalign. She is a member of The British Orthodontic Society and is on the specialist list at The Royal College of Surgeons and the General Dental Council.
Rachel loves to spend her spare time skiing, visiting art exhibitions and spending time with her husband and 2 young children.

John studied Dentistry at the University of Bristol, qualifying in 1992. He gained post-graduate experience in various fields of dentistry including oral surgery, restorative dentistry and providing dental care for adults and children with special needs. He achieved the Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1995 and returned to Bristol for his 3-year specialist orthodontic training program. John was awarded first prize at the British Orthodontic Conference in 1999 for his research into palate development. John is married with two children and joined Circus Orthodontics in 1999. He is registered with the General Dental Council as an orthodontic specialist and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Phil graduated in dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2013. After completing vocational training in Stroud, he spent a year working in paediatric dentistry for a year at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London followed by two years spent working in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Liverpool. He returned to the South West with his wife, also a dentist, to embark on Specialist Training in Orthodontics.
He completed his specialist training at Bristol Dental Hospital and the Royal United Hospital in Bath, graduating with a Doctorate (DDS) in Orthodontics at the University of Bristol and Membership in Orthodontics awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is on the GDC Specialist List for Orthodontics and holds membership of the British Orthodontic Society.
In his spare time Phil enjoys spending time with his two young sons. He is a keen skier and enjoys playing tennis on the rare occasion he gets the time

Kerry studied Dentistry at the University of Bristol, qualifying in 1991. Her early career was spent in the hospital dental service where she specialised in Oral Surgery and studied for the Fellowship in Dental Surgery. A very enjoyable career break was spent raising two children. She returned to work in 2002, training in orthodontics at the Royal United Hospital. She started working at Circus Orthodontics in 2004, joining her husband Graham. Kerry especially enjoys helping nervous patients and she is committed to prevention of dental disease. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys a range of interests including netball, cricket, reading, visiting the cinema, theatre and concerts and is well known among the staff at Circus Orthodontics for baking fantastic cakes!

Sarah joined Circus Orthodontics as a dental nurse in 2004. In 2013 she qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist working closely with John Kerrigan. Sarah thoroughly enjoys her new role. She is enthusiastic and is particularly skilled at calming the nerves of new patients and advising those who need to work on their dental hygiene! Outside of work she enjoys a glass of wine and relaxing in front of a film.

Hilary is our Principal Orthodontic Nurse joining the team in 2001. She gained her nursing qualification in 1976 and worked at The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Brighton in the Orthodontic Department. Following a career break to raise her 4 children she returned to the Community Dental Service in 2001 working with special needs patients and later joined Circus Orthodontics. Hilary is an enthusiastic and committed nurse with a calm and caring nature. Her interests include; jogging, cooking, decorating and supporting her son at his cycle races.

Laura Taylor joined Circus Orthodontics as Dental Nurse in April 2016 and has come from a dentist background where she qualified in August 2015. She is a valuable and caring member of the team who is eager to pursue her career in dentistry. Outside of work Laura loves spending time with her nephew. She is also an incredibly talented singer who really enjoys performing at social clubs and events.

Debbie Joined Circus Orthodontics in September 2018. Debbie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2011, previously having been a medical secretary. Debbie is Marries to Ed and they have 3 grown up children. She has 2 dogs and enjoys many hours walking in the fields near her home. Debbie also enjoys sewing, going to the theatre, live stage acts and is known to enjoy the occasional glass of wine!

Christelle has been a Dental nurse since 2021. She trained in general dentistry before coming into orthodontics and hopes to be an Orthodontics Therapist in the future.
She has identical twin sons who keep her very busy, she enjoys beauty, fitness and spending time with her family.

I have 3 grown up children and 3 beautiful grandchildren and I love spending time with them all whenever I can. My 2 oldest grandchildren live in Guernsey so that's an added bonus to go and see them. I have only just started part-time work so I am looking forward to filling my spare with some interesting 'me' things to do.

Nicola Joined us in December 2016 and is enjoying her new challenge as Practice Manager. Outside of work her two young boys keep her busy with their many clubs but when there's time Nicola enjoys socialising with family and friends, holidays and keeping fit.

Having served 23 years working for the Ministry of Defence Katie joined Circus Orthodontics in 2004. In her spare time she is a keen collector of antiques, loves eating out, collecting and going to antique fairs.

Ruth joined Circus orthodontics in 2018. She has previously worked as a dental nurse and has since enjoyed a successful career in customer service, training and coaching. Ruth loves cooking and entertaining family and friends at her home.

Karen has recently joined us and is learning the ropes of our busy practice.
She loves theatre, music, travel and sharing the experience with her two daughters.
Karen is also fluent in other languages but especially loves Spanish.

Emma joined our practice as a qualified dental nurse in 2011 and went on to gain her Radiography, Alginate Impression taking qualifications and Oral Health Education qualifications. Emma left to have her first baby in 2016 and has returned to us as our practice secretary. She comes in once a week to work alongside Nicola, our practice manager and works from home two other days a week typing the orthodontists dictated letters. In Emma's spare time she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, friends, and family. There is always something going on! She has a passion for interior design and is very particular, generally!
